Common Sense Recognition
ITI’s Reaching Beyond the Classroom - Digital Citizen (Asynchronous Self-Paced) course is designed to support educators in preparing to engage with learners to be empowered to thrive in an increasingly evolving technological landscape. Through a variety of activities, educators will learn about LAUSD’s definition of Digital Citizenship, the District’s policies and best practices around engaging in digital learning environments, and gather resources that can be put into practice immediately. Upon completing this course, educators will become Common Sense Certified Educators, valid for two years. Additionally, schools have an opportunity to apply for school recognition.

Google Certified Educator: Level 1 and Level 2
ITI’s Google Certified Educator (GCE) Program Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) are self-paced courses designed for certificated educators who wish to demonstrate proficiency in using Google Workspace for Education tools into their practice to enhance teaching and learning. Google Certified Educator certifications are valid for three years

ISTE Certification for Educators Program
ITI’s ISTE Certification for Educators Program is a competency based professional learning opportunity that helps LAUSD PK-12 educators in rethinking and redesigning learning activities with technology to engage students in real-world, authentic, active learning. And because it is learner-focused and pedagogy-based, ISTE Certification gives educators the tools they need to change classroom practice and improve student outcomes, no matter what technology they are using. ISTE Certification is valid for three years.
